My grandmother's sister, Lillie (Dyer), married Robert E.(Ed) Amelang, who was the son of Franz and Hannah Plouchentz Amelang. I don't have Franz or Hannah's obituaries, but Edward Amelang's reads: [Born in Green Township (IA) August 22, 1881 to Franz and Hannah Plouchentz Amelang. Moved to Davis county when he was three years old. When Ed died in 1955 (or maybe 1956) he was survived by a brother John, twin sisters Minnie(Orman) and Martha(Skinner), and two other sisters, Rosa (Minor)) and Cora (Evans).
